Our Programs

We offer a wide range of programs for dancers of all ages and levels, from recreational classes to pre-professional training. Our programs are designed to provide our students with a comprehensive dance education, including technique, artistry, and performance skills.

ACROBATICS

Acro/Gym or acrobatics is the art of slow controlled movements using the flexibility of the back, legs, and shoulders.  Acro is one of the performing arts and involves difficult feats of balance, agility, and coordination. Gymnastics is the sport of power tumbling executed by a straight back using strength and speed. Classes will focus on increasing flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline, and concentration. Emphasis will be placed on developing fundamental acrobatic techniques, and teaching skills such as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, and contortion tricks, all at each student’s individual level of experience.  This class combines acrobatic tumbling skills with dance elements.

Our Christ-centered acrobatic program offers a structured, encouraging environment where students develop strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence. Each level builds on the last, helping dancers grow in skill, discipline, and a heart for worship through movement.

Classes

BALLET

Ballet is the foundation of all styles of dance.  Its origins stem from Italy.  It is a highly technical form of dance with its own vocabulary.  It is best known in the form of classical but can additionally include neoclassical and contemporary ballet.  Each class begins with a ballet barre, moves to a center floor adage, petite and grand allegro, and concludes with a formal grand reverence.  Students will learn terminology in French, correct body alignment, how to improve their natural turn-out, and develop a love for the most graceful living art. Pointe, as an extension to ballet, is the advancement of ballet class to hard-boxed pointe shoes.  Students usually progress to pointe work between the ages of 11-12

Classes

Pre-Ballet (Ages 3–4)

Our pre-Ballet class gently introduces little ones to the world of dance in a joyful, Christ-centered environment. Designed for ages 3–4, this class focuses on creative movement, musicality, and foundational ballet steps while nurturing a love for God and others. Through imaginative play and uplifting music, students learn coordination, rhythm, and classroom skills such as listening, sharing, and taking turns. Each class encourages children to express themselves through movement while growing in confidence, kindness, and grace. No prior dance experience needed-just a joyful heart and a willingness to move!

Minis Ballet (Ages 5-6)

Minis Ballet is a joyful next step for young dancers ready to build on their pre-Ballet experience and begin more structured ballet training. Students learn foundational ballet positions, terminology, and technique through age-appropriate exercises, music, and choreography. Dancers will continue to develop grace, coordination, strength, and poise, while also deepening their understanding of discipline, focus, and teamwork. This class lays a strong foundation for future ballet levels while nurturing a heart of praise and purpose in every dancer. *

Ballet 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3, & Pointe (with the exception of 1A all students must be evaluated for placement)

Our ballet program is thoughtfully designed to build upon each level, guiding dancers through a Christ-centered journey of technical excellence, artistic growth, and spiritual development. Beginning with Level 1 students solidify foundational ballet technique, alignment, and vocabulary. As dancers advance into Level 2 they gain strength, flexibility, musicality, and precision through more challenging barre and center work, all taught with grace and encouragement. Level 3 introduces more complex combinations, turns, and jumps, preparing students for the disciplined beauty of Pointe work.

At every stage, our classes reinforce core values such as humility, perseverance, and worship through movement. Each level supports the dancer’s growth not only as an artist but also as a young person rooted in faith offering a structured path that nurtures both body and spirit. Please check with us to schedule evaluations or placement for levels.

Lyrical, Contemporary, & Jazz

Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz techniques.  Lyrical dance challenges choreographers to use emotion to interpret music and express emotion.  A lyrical dancer’s movements attempt to show the meaning of music while telling a story through every movement made.  Lyrical dance has a relatively recent history compared to other dance styles.

Contemporary is a modern dance style that combines elements of ballet, modern, jazz, and other forms. It allows dancers to express their emotions and creativity through movements and breath

Jazz class will focus on learning proper dance techniques such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality, and developing complex rhythms and patterns.  Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street, and Contemporary to help develop a well-rounded dancer.  The curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combos.

Tap classes will develop rhythm, style, and sound.  Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap.  Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement.  Class emphasis is on developing proper tap techniques, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun!
